Symbolic representation of Gaia as a woman, the Earth life force, looking down upon us as she is consumed in flames. A combination of Dia Del Muerto or Day of the Dead style mixed with Haida art. Haida animals in the form of eagle, raven, killer whale, moose, otter, salmon, dolphin and other animals are fleeing as Mother Earth is being consumed.

Artist's Bio: Sassan Filsoof has experience as a graphic designer, illustrator and animator currently residing in Enderby, Canada. Sassan Filsoof was first formally trained as an industrial designer, then classical animator, but has always had a strong affinity towards graphics and drawing.
